VISION, MISSION AND SCHOOL OBJECTIVES
Vision Statement : The vision of SMAN 1 Bangli is an insight about the future condition hoped by the school, as formulated as follow :
”Be superior in Achievement and Wise in the Society”
Mission Statement : To establish the above motion, that the mission of SMAN 1 Bangli are :
a. To grow and develop the understanding of religion, culture, and good conduct that become the source of wisdom in doing something
b. To develop extracurricular activity in art, sport, organization and academic
c. Conduct the effective, efficient, and continuous learning, consulting and training so that students can get optimum learning in accordant with the potency of the students.
d. To set and develop the sense of respect to all school community
e. To create a healthy life style through free smoking and drugs
f. To increase the application Of Tri Hita Karana ( Three things for creating happiness ) concept through caring the temples, the people and the environment
g. To give knowledge and skill to all students so that they can use in their social life.
h. To establish the positive image of the society toward the school
School Objectives : Looking at the above vision and mission, the objective of the school can be formulated as follows :
a. Being able to do Curriculum and Assessment based on Competence(CABC) and education based on life skill as well as to increase the action of Preparation of International Standardized School to be International Standardized school.
b. the gain score achievement of the minimum score of final national examination : + 0.5
c. Being able to get the national first rank until the twentieth in Science Olympiad
d. The number of students joining the Research Writing Club is 5% of the total number of the students.
e. The number of students accepted in State university through Entry Test and The Search of interest, talent and achievement.
f. Every students have to master one of local or national art.
g. Possessing at least two sport team which can become the winner in province level.
h. 65% of the science teachers can teach bilingually
i. 65% of the teachers can teach by ICT and E learning

Visi SMA Negeri 1 Bangli merupakan pandangan tentang keadaan masa depan yang diharapkan oleh SMA Negeri 1 Bangli, yang dirumuskan sebagai berikut :

This vision has indicators as follows:
1. Meningkatkan keimanan dan Ketaqwaan kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa.
To upgrade the faith and belief to the Almighty God
2. Menanamkan disiplin yang tinggi yang ditunjang oleh kondisi fisik yag prima
To set up High discpline supported by healthy physical condition
3. Menanamkan semangat nasionalisme dan patriotisme
To set up the spirit of nasionalism and patriotism
4. Mengarahkan siswa agar memiliki kepekaan sosial dan kepemimpinan.
To direct students in order to have social awareness and leadership
5. Mengembangkan wawasan IPTEK yang mendalam dan luas.

6. Menumbuhkan motivasi dan komitmen yang tinggi untuk mencapai prestasi dan keunggulan dalam setiap ajang kompetisi.

7. Melaksanakan pembelajaran dan bimbingan secara efektif, efisien dan berkesinambungan.

Untuk mewujudkan visi di atas, maka misi SMA Negeri 1 Bangli adalah :

a. Menumbuhkembangkan penghayatan terhadap ajaran agama, budaya, dan budi pekerti yang menjadi sumber kearifan dalam bertindak.

Bertolak dari rumusan visi dan misi di atas, maka dapat dirumuskan tujuan sekolah sebagai berikut :

a. mampu melaksanakan Kurikulum dan Sistem pengujian Berbasis Kompetensi (KSPBK) dengan pendidikan berbasis kecakapan hidup (lifeskill) serta peningkatan pelaksanaan sekolah Rintisan SBI untuk menuju ke sekolah SBI.

b. rata-rata pencapaian nilai selisih (gain score achievement) nilai ujian akhir nasional minimal : +0,5

c. mampu mencapai peringkat antara 1 sampai dengan 20 secara nasional dalam olympiade Sains.

d. jumlah siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler KIR adalah sebanyak 5 % dari jumlah siswa secara keseluruhan.
